The 2009 Fondue Fest has begun accepting applications for vendors. The festival invites local artists and crafters to participate by displaying and selling their work to the thousands of attendees expected at this year’s event. The 2008 Fondue Festival drew about 17,000.
The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership is looking for crafters, painters, photographers, sculptors and artists of every media to make the festival a success.
Besides the namesake fondue, the festival hosts various food vendors. The Partnership is also seeking ethnic food vendors and anyone that can come and add spice to the festival.
The spaces are approximately 20-foot-by-15-foot. Vendors interested in applying can find the form at www.downtownfdl.com or by calling the partnership at (920) 921-9500. Spaces are $75 each.
The Fondue Festival will be held on Main Street in downtown Fond du Lac from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 12. The free family festival features the Kids’ Zone with games, activities and hands-on fun, three Main Stages with entertainment all day long, Farmers Market, crafters, food galore and downtown merchant sales.
The Fondue Fest is an event of the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership.
